• Learn to Navigate the Transport System e.g., through Google Map, Bus App etc. 
• Don’t downplay the weather – kit yourself properly. E.g., Glasgow is a City of 4 weathers in one day.
• Find a community that supports your spiritual / mental health being.
• Identify extra-curricular activity that helps you unwind – e.g., Play on- demand football, binge Netflix, catch up on your favorite series etc.

Child Care: Build a support system within your local community
Jobs: Sign up to Job sites that offer both temporary and permanent jobs. If you are the partner studying, start your graduate applications as  you arrive, don’t leave it to the end of your studies
Abroad Life: Find out what you can leverage on within your community to improve your standard or living
